For any Return or Exchange, HandmadeWigs.com always tries its best to assist customers. But as a customer, you must understand the fact that shipping cost is charged by the 3rd parties couriers such as UPS or USPS and HandmadeWigs.com does not have any control over the shipping cost.
As a consumer, you are responsible for the selection of products and/or its colors, while, as an online store, HandmadeWigs.com shall not tries to profit from the Return or Exchange process. Based on this ground, following Return and Exchange policy is drawn and must be followed by all customers.
- For any Return, ACTUAL shipping cost will not be refunded. In many cases, we offer lower shipping cost than the ACTUAL shipping cost to attract customers. If product is returned, full amount of shipping fee will be charged to the customer.
- For any Return, 25% of restocking fee will be charged. This amount will be deducted from the refund.
- Any products that are not in resellable condition will not be returnable. If returned product is not resellable, we will not refund your money, nor send your returned product back to you unless you pay for the shipping. So please do NOT order products that you are not sure of.
- You are responsible to receive any shipped package. If your package returns because there are no person to receive package or you refuse to receive it, we will charge 25% restocking fee plus the ACTUAL shipping charge. If you want to rearrange the shipping, you are responsible for additional shipping charge.
- Please be aware that a change of mind will not entitle you to return the item.
HandmadeWigs.com's goal is to provide convenient and pleasurable online buying experiences to our valued customers. We allow one (1) exchange per item without charging handling fee - please read fee section below carefully.
Please be aware: Unauthorized and ineligible exchanges will incur a 25% unauthorized product return fee. To avoid this fee please follow these exchange guidelines:
- Eligible product(s): must be in original and perfect factory condition (unaltered, unworn, undamaged, and with tags attached) and in original packaging.
- Items not eligible for exchange: Costume Wigs, Last Call, Clearance, Discontinued, Accessories, Care Products, Special Orders and Wholesale Orders.
- If product(s) have been altered, worn, damaged, or tags/packaging tampered with, products will be ineligible and deemed unauthorized.
- HandmadeWigs.com now offers Hassle-free color exchanges! If you are not happy with your color selection and wish to exchange the same item for a different color the 25% exchange fee will be waived for your first exchange. But you are still responsible for addtional shipping charge.
- 25% exchange fees apply to all other exchange item(s).
- If you receive style/color help from our experts and the suggestions are not satisfactory, exchange fees and/or handling fees are not waived. Please choose carefully.
- Charges required to complete exchanges are made on the credit card submitted in the original order.
- Balances are issued as store credit only and can be used at any time with in 1 year.
- Shipping Costs on Exchange
- Shipping charges will apply. We ship via the method chosen on the original order, unless instructions in the exchange package specify otherwise.
How to Request an Exchange
- Requests for exchange must be made within 5 business days of receipt of product(s). Exchanges must be pre-authorized by HandmadeWigs.com with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number. Without an RMA the item(s) will incur a 30% unauthorized product return fee.
